List and Links to Web Sites
With Comments Designed and Produced by j.t.a.c.
This page presents j.t.a.c.'s brief comments about the sites I have produced. A site image and link allowing you to visit the site(s) are included also. I strongly invite you to visit these sites to best comprehend the j.t.a.c. design philosophy. Words do not really describe web sites. Sites are listed alphabetically.
Design Note: The current (and ever evolving) web site is handled by the Bank itself and various design and page changes have occurred. But, it retains many aspects of the basic initial design. (The image on the right is from the original design)
Assisted living web site with a floral theme. The site has some graphic self treatments here and there which I feel makes it a little nicer than many similar sites. Made in conjunction with Crowley & Company Advertising.
The site also has a few Flash elements including music and rotating images.
One of the local, Citrus County, Rotary Clubs. The blue and gold graphics with a metallic feel on this site: I really like. This site features both horizontal and vertical navigation.
This is a site which features plenty of medical information as well as doctors, nurses and other staff information. Also, forms, location and contact information. The navigation is consistent and easy utilizing pop-out menus off the left navigation buttons on sections with diverse choices. The color scheme and design is pleasant, pleasing and professional.
This group and this site is an fund raising arm of the Citrus Memorial Health System, a Citrus County Hospital. The site is a nice, light, clean professional design. The design followed a previously established logo and brochure design with original design elements added as appropriate for a web site. Flash elements include rotating images and background music.
A very nice "sales" site. The client set up and handles all product through a very good sales site package which is the database, shopping cart and monetary transfer system. He then set up a template. From there, we mutually worked on a design which I then created art for and uploaded to the system. Then end result is the look you see there now.
Deco Solutions is a company specializing in POS software and hardware systems. The site design is actually two designs. The "home page" is a template the client liked, which I then modified to their own tastes and also matching the rest of the site. Inside the site, custom made to fit.
Note: The site is not complete. There are many pages in place, but there remains some "coming soon" pages.
A Real Estate site for a mutli-office agency here in Citrus County. It's a frame site which presents a few different variables. Some good, some bad. Client wanted frames to keep everything super fast on site (no graphics loading from page to page). A few pages are non-frames to assist in getting search engine awareness of site. The design is unique but based on the client's suggestion of another site they liked. It's not a copy, but the direction of design was not a mystery. We knew how it was to layout and just had to create a unique look to fit the layout.
The design is based on blue skies. The previous logo was reworked to match the site design and includes a little bit of animation on the balloon logo.
A rather large site(s). Appears to be one, but it is three sites. General Public Site, Franchise information site and trade specific site, the three sites are to attract visitors of the three different interests. Navigates between them via top area of site.
Swimming pool tiles called for a web site with graphics representing pool tiles. That came to me before the client and I agreed to work together. From there it was still a layout and color scheme design but that too went pretty smoothly. This site was a re-designed. The previous site was dated, it was a bit disorganized and not well structured for search engines. The new design targeted improvement on those issues.
A nice professional site. Tabs horizontally across top for section navigation. Once in a section, appropriate navigation buttons also appear. The Homosassa famous manatee was part of their logo, but I changed it from a silhouette cartoon figure to an actual manatee photo. And ... the manatee swims (on the home page only). Color scheme: aquatic.
This web site was made many years ago. It still holds up pretty well. The entrance is different than seen here. It's an anmiated manatee I made up. Once inside the site, the tiled water background is the main feature.
This is a site I made as a volunteer for the park. The attraction is a local favorite and a place I have always enjoyed visiting. Lots of real good information for those who are interested in the local area, manatess and the park.
Somewhat "standard" website with a little more "relaxed" feel to the graphics for navigation. The navigation as I designed it was a post with the wooden signs you still see now. The client liked the signs but not the post so that's the way the site is (I liked it better the other way - but it's not my site).
A site dedicated to the help and rescue of retired racing greyhounds. This site was made many years ago and still does it's job pretty well. The navigation features rotating dog paws. There is a newer site within this site: the Second Chance at Life prison dog program you can see if you visit the main site.
A Citrus County, Florida Dentist's site. Worked in some flash rotating photos and music on this one. Somewhat smaller site which is exactly whet the Dr. ordered. The client also features some very nice photos of his dental art sculpture collection.
The Orthopedic Center at Citrus Memorial Health System is nationally recognized for excellence in orthopedic care. This site features some nice graphics and a unique navigation approach appropriate to the subject matter. The entrance you see to the right: just the entrance. Once inside the site, a tabbed and button navigation system with all data encased within the chosen section tab. The site also has Flash background music.
One of five web sites made for SanderSon Bay Fine Homes. It's a site to promote their building within the Pine Ridge, Florida Community. The design is bascially the same as the main SanderSon Bay Fine Homes site but contains the community information, photos, a few graphics changes and a logo was developed for the community site name.
This site features rotating flash photo graphics and horizontal pop down navigation (a 1 file server side include) at the top of all pages. Also has a home page "music off" button feature. Left narrow column on all pages allow "special notice" highlights. A broad spectrum of information is presented ranging from services to company information and how to tips and more. A blue and grey corporate color scheme.
One of five web sites made for SanderSon Bay Fine Homes. This site is the company's commercial construction version. The design is bascially the same as the main SanderSon Bay Fine Homes site but contains information pertaining to larger, commercial projects. Includes photos, contact methods and company history information.
A website made to work from the ground up. This custom home builder had a website which they liked, but it received very little search engine traffic, it simply was not made for capturing visitors. Now, this new design and new, more extensive content does the job. Traffic has increased dramatically over time. Massive research and then development of content as well as nice new design on this site with lots of information for both visitor and search engines has resulted in a very effective web site.
A web site for a great Glass Artist, Shane Fero. It was a pleasure to make a site like this. With the subject being art, I had a little more freedom in the design. We chose to use black, white and grey to allow the fine art dominate the site, rather than the site design. Some of the original design has been simplified over time by the client (roll over images for his artwork to indicate they are really buttons to be clicked, etc.), but the basic design remains.
One of five sites produced for SanderSon Bay Fine Homes. This onoe is for an upscale community development here in Citrus County. Large lots with rolling hills. Nice site for a nice community. The community is now being developed and new homes being built. The site helped the community completely sell out the home sites in a fairly quick fashion. Good results and a good design.
One of five web sites made for SanderSon Bay Fine Homes. It's a site to promote their building within the Sugarmill Woods, Florida Community. The design is bascially the same as the main SanderSon Bay Fine Homes site but contains the community information, photos, a few graphics changes and a logo was developed for the community site name.
I had the ulitmate free reign on this one - it's my site. I made my woodworking web site quite a few years ago and was happy with it. Now, it's showing it's age and I would like to make a new one soon. It is woodworking site featuring high quality, custom made, hand crafted wood projects for home furniture as well as yard and garden items. This is my "other job". It does not make me a lot of money but I enjoy creating things out of wood and the "job" is a nice compliment to working on a computer all day.
A site covering religious matters. I'm not a religious person but the site's owner is a very, very good friend of mine and I keep it updated for him as a favor. He was a client years ago and hired me to build the site at that time. As a very old site, it's a little dated but still kicking.
Made in conjunction with Crowley & Company Advertising:
I work closely with Crowley & Company Advertising producing and maintaining most of their client's websites. Crowley Advertising is an ad agency here in Citrus County which has expertise in many graphic design areas, i.e., print, promotional materils and campaigns, etc. However, they do not have web site expertise in-house. That's where I come in. Working with Crowley Advertising and their clients to produce the client's web site needs. Methods range from my design to a design suggestion by Crowley Advertising to a design suggestion by the client and all points in between. Works out well.
