Photo Manipulation Design by j.t.a.c.

Photo manipulation is a very broad term. It may mean a slight adjustment in brightness or it may mean an almost totally altered image one would not recognize from the original. And it is all points in between.

j.t.a.c. has worked with Photoshop software since it's birth (Version 1). Over the years I have become quite proficient at various photo manipulation techniques as they apply to graphics, print and websites. Correction color, contrast and flaws in images. Perhaps combining two or more images. Applying various effects. Simply taking your images and making them the best they can be to best suit your purpose.

Below are a few examples of photo manipulation I have produced. Your needs will be specific to your needs ... but I may well be able to make your images better than you expect.

Extreme
Photo Manipulation

The photograph on the right involved a great deal of photoshop work. The original photo was not up the the company's media needs. Having been photographed when sod was just laid, new grass had to be grown digitally. Also, color saturation, brightness adjustments were made and sky, tree and other photo fixes were applied. Multi Use
Photo Manipulation

The photo manipulation example to the right was basically an elimination of the background and color and flaw fixes. But, beyond that, the photo was used for multiple brands by inserting appropriate graphics onto the pole and computer screen. Click for details.

Silhouette Example

The photograph on the right was not too bad. But, for it's intended use it needed to be a silhouette. Thus the background was eliminated in most areas. Also, some vegetation had to be cloned out and the normal color fixes and small flaw corrections were applied. Click for details.

Silhouette Example #2

The silhouette example to the right was for myself. It's an image I silhouetted and used on my old website home page. Each year I would change the computer screen date. Another "multi use" example of photo manipulation also. Click for details.

Simple
Photo Manipulation

The photograph on the right is an example of quick and easy photo manipulation. The photo original was pretty good. I simply adjusted brightness, saturation and the fixed the slightly off angle. With those quick steps, the photo is improved without much cost or effort. Click for details.

As you can see in the various samples above, a little extra effort on your photo can make a big difference. Even if your photos need a lot of work, it is still possible to produce some very nice images from photographs (or graphics) that you may think are beyond hope.
