Creating Unique Designs
By "illustrating" your graphic needs, you will end up with a unique item. Not like the one next door, not like your competitors - your own unique design.
That is often achieved through some aspect of illustration. The degree and extent will depend upon what you wish to have displayed in your print material, on your website or wherever the graphic element will be seen and shown. That may be a simple graphic effect or include drastic effects or even true "illustration". I have experience at both ends of the illustration spectrum.
I studied and was trained as a traditional artist, i.e., drawing and painting. I have also studied and trained in many related art fields such as silk screening, sculpture, jewelry design and making, photography and more. As I can and do still get out a pencil and paper when appropriate, that can come in handy in helping your look be your own. Using some combination of old and and new design and illustration techniques, the best road to your best looking graphic elements can be chosen and used.
